When I spend time in foreign countries, especially in cultures distinctly different from my own, a change takes place in me. While I can’t quantify those changes with words, the feeling is unmistakable: I’m different. I’ve been fortunate to travel to some pretty interesting locales over the years. I spent a month in Vietnam; I had two extended stays in India, as well as trips to Ecuador, Brazil, and two trips to Africa with Lend a Hand Uganda.
